Hi - I’m Jim Moran, and I’m researching how LLMs will impact investing. Previously I co-founded YipitData, which provides alternative data to hedge funds and large companies.

Like you, I’ve seen countless articles on how LLMs are revolutionizing investing but they are starting to get really repetitive. Instead, I’m saving the use cases I find most creative and useful, and posting them here.

Recent examples include: detecting evasion, ingesting podcasts, ingesting youtube transcripts, evaluating new CEOs, shareholder activism, bond indentures, grading sellside analysts.
